Beagle Puppy's First Trip to the Beach Is So Full of Sweetness

Beagles are the perfect mix of lazy and playful. They're short-haired and perfectly squishy. As far as a dog goes, you can't get much better than a beagle if you're looking into mid-sized breeds.

Beagles apparently only get cuter when they're having some fun in the sun, according to this TikTok from Wednesday, August 30th:

I think Bogey the beagle actually has my heart. I have never wanted to squish a dog's little face so badly. 

Beagles adore the sun. When they're not frolicking in the sand, you'll typically find them lazing away in a sunny spot. They're sassy as can be, though, so you have to make sure that they also have a shady spot available just in case. Otherwise, you could be in for some major stink-eye.

The beach is a great spot to bring your pup to, and on a hot day, it might feel like a no-brainer. However, while bringing your dog to the beach is fine, there are some things to be cautious of, like:

• The temperature of the sand. It can burn their paw pads if it's too hot: you can put booties on them!
• The water. It's fine to let your pup swim around, but you need to be aware of the waves and the current. 
• Their thirst. Your dog should have plenty of fresh water available to discourage them drinking the sea water.
• Wildlife. Make sure your dog doesn't get into any dangerous situations with the marine life.

With a tiny beagle baby like Bogey, it's best to wait until the pup has had at least their first round of shots as well as a parvovirus vaccine, which they typically get at around 4 months old. Happy, healthy puppies are the best kind to bring to beach day!
