Black Cat Who Goes to Aldi Every Day Has Another Very Human-Like Trait

People think he's lost.

Aldi shoppers, this cat is your spirit animal. Without fail, he visits daily. He seems to share a bond with those who know how to find the best deals around. And that's not even his most captivating quality.

This grocery giant might want to consider making him their new mascot. Check out his other unique characteristics in a video from November 15:

The BBC (@bbcneandcumbria) reports this very interesting cat named Benji is a regular in the Aldi supermarket parking lot. This charming fellow is there so often he’s usually reported as missing multiple times a day.

His obsession with this supermarket started over the summer. Early on, his mom put up laminated signs to clarify that he was not lost. She also asked people to please not feed him because he has allergies. In an attempt to stop the 20 to 30 phone calls she received daily, she had a custom-made collar printed with, “If this boy is at Aldi, he is not lost.” How funny!

One of the more notable traits of this cat is that he has also potty trained himself. Apparently, after watching his human sibling go through his training, he learned how to do it, too. Wow! That is incredible! This pretty kitty must have a high IQ.

This charming story sounded familiar to some in the audience. Viewer @a7xblackrose2007 responded, “The Sainsbury's near me had a cat like that. She was so friendly and would sleep inside where it was warm, although she lived near the shop. Sadly, she passed away a couple of years ago, but now she’s got a plaque on the wall, so she’s always remembered.” Maybe she’s come back as this stunning cat.

Viewer @anna_artuk responded, “My cat Larry loves to go to Pandora and McDonalds. I’m always getting calls about him. He was a local legend in Enfield Town. In everyone’s house all the time!” That sounds like one smart kitty, too.

Hopefully, this cat’s new collar will stop his mom from getting so many phone calls each day. Although, it’s always nice to know so many people care.
