Cat Reacts to Sister Who 'Needs a Bath' with Most Meme-Worthy Face
Cats are so brutally honest without speaking a word, and they can't but let others know exactly how they feel. Take Azia the cat, for example, whose disgust over her kitty sister's particularly rough scent is obvious because it's written on her face!
Azia is notorious for making some of the best faces on the internet, and it's easy to see why—she's hilarious! Watch her reaction to performing a sniff test on her sister!
It's always a good time when @azia_and_ryan post something of Azia because it's guaranteed to be a good laugh. Whether she's an adorably dressed rascal as she plays with her pet parents or choosing which costume to wear on any particular day, this is one entertaining feline!

With humor like this, it's really no surprise Azia has well over 1.4 million followers tuning in to watch her funny expressions, going on walks with Mom, or doing what is now known as "boiting," she's an absolute riot and this video is no different.
"Not the stank face," one person wrote. "Her stink face is the same as her “no boit” face," another said. "Asias facials never disappoint," another added and no, they don't!
Why Cats Make Funny Faces to Smell Things
As entertaining as Azia is, anyone with a cat knows this happens right after they smell something. According to PetMD, it's called the Flehmen Response, which does look like a "stink" face. It's even referred to as a "Flehmen grimace, and is a response that helps them process pheromones or robust or interesting smells.
When you spot this expression on your cat's face, it's voluntary. That means they're deliberately trying to process a smell, holding their mouth open so air to pass through their vomeronasal organ that sits at the base of their nasal cavity. This organ takes the scent and makes it a powerful combo of taste and smell.
And while it looks like your kitty is repulsed by a scent, that's not necessarily the case. It's just the way their face looks as all the dots connect to process what they're sensing. In the wild, it's a really cool way for them to communicate with other members of their group.
Whatever Azia was sensing with her sister's strong scent, I'm just glad it was caught on camera!
