What a hero!

It's always so wonderful when famous people use their massive platforms to promote animal adoption, which is why this video from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert called Rescue Dog Rescue. Colbert even says they have a perfect record of every dog they have featured getting adopted!

At about the 2:40 mark Stephen Colbert explains he usually has a celebrity guest star come out to help talk about the puppies but the puppies are so cute that this time they don't even need that and Chris Evans walks through the door. Check it out!

Evans was on the show to promote his new holiday movie opening Friday also starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and then Colbert explains he doesn't need a celebrity guest because the dogs are so cute. Then the puppies come out!

Evans introduces an adorable puppy named Agnes and says she loves chasing the mailman, but only because she thinks it's the pool boy.

Here's hoping all these good boys and girls find the best forever homes with all the love and care they deserve!

About the North Shore Animal League

Chris Evans stopped by Stephen Colbert to find puppies homes from the North shore animal league.

They are such an amazing organization.

The North Shore Animal League is located in Port Washington, New York and it was founded in 1944. It is the largest no kill animal adoption and rescue organization in the world.

Their website explains that since 1944, over 1.2 million animal lives have been saved, that a single year, their medical staff performed 43,000 exams and in 2023, they found homes for more than 6,000 pets from their adoption centers in NY, and facilitated over 50,000 adoptions around the country working with their network of over 2,000 shelter partners.

They've also administered 47,000 crucial vaccinations given to help prevent disease.

Animal shelters like these do such amazing work helping animals in the community and providing low cost and sometimes free veterinary services to pet parents. They make sure to find loving homes for animals that need them, provide education for pet parents to help train and raise their fur babies, and do community outreach to teach people in the community about what shelters do and why they are so important. It's just awesome that someone like Colbert has partnered with them to help find homes for these adorable puppies.
