Corgi Puppy Yoga Class in Chicago Has People Green with Envy
We all know things like meditation, journaling, and regular exercise help us feel our best, but one multi-city yoga class is taking self-care to the next level with puppy yoga—and puppy-loving participants can't get enough.
Content creator Kate Kipish (@kate.kipish) shared the unique experience from The Puppysphere (@thepuppysphere) in Chicago on TikTok, where this Corgi puppy yoga class was all the rage! People may go for the yoga but the puppies are the real stars. Check out the little cuties!
The June 4, 2024 video shows exactly what goes on during one of these adorable puppy yoga classes, and it looks like a ton of fun! The opening shot catches a tiny Corgi walking up to the camera, followed by a montage of yogis in poses, playing with energetic Corgis, stretching, snuggling with Corgis, and capturing all the excitement on camera.
Though yoga is a big part of the class (hence the name), the Corgis in this video are the focal point, as they are in every Puppysphere class. These tiny tots get lots of pets, playtime, and even a good nap as they take over the room with their adorable stumpy stature and oversized ears. It's clear this popular class is a win-win for dog-lovers, yoga enthusiasts, and the cutie-pie pups alike!
What Is Puppy Yoga?
These Puppysphere yoga classes aren't only for Corgi lovers! Depending on which city and class participants attend, there could be Corgis, Terriers, Dalmatians, and more, which are borrowed from local breeders and rescues. The company announces on Instagram which breed with be featured three days before each class, so it's a fun surprise to see what pups you'll share your class with.
Included with each of Puppysphere's Puppy Yoga and Bubbly event is a 45-minute Yoga Flow class followed by a 30-minute "chill time with the pups." The "bubbly part of the class includes bottomless Mimosas (or the non-alcoholic equivalent), and in some cities like Chicago, you'll get a take-home Polaroid so you'll never forget this heartwarming experience.
Puppysphere offers tickets of various prices from $40 to $80 to puppy yoga in Toronto, New York City, Miami, and Chicago. They also host themed weekends and private or corporate events, including a Puppy Social, Cuddle Zone, Puppy Yoga, and Yappy Hour.
