Corgi Siblings Embark on First Boating Adventure and Decide Life Is Better on Solid Ground
Two Corgi siblings went on a boat adventure with their parents for the first time and realized it was definitely not for them.
On October 13, 2024, Brady the Corgi (@bradythecorgi) shared a video of two Corgis and their parents going on a boat ride, and they weren't too thrilled. Take a look!
Two adorable Corgis, Brady and Graffiti, went on a boating adventure with their parents, but they weren't exactly having a good day.
"Taking the boys boating for the first time," the text on the video reads as we're given our first glance of Brady and Graffiti looking cute on a boat with their parents.
"Brady loved the wind and fresh air," the video explained, "but it was a bit much for Graffiti, I had to comfort him."
Next up, the boat anchored so everyone could get out and enjoy the water. The parents were excited and the Corgis had their life jackets on.
"We went for a swim and confirmed yet again that Corgi butts do indeed float," the video shared. When the cute pup was swimming back toward the camera, the look on his eyes said he was not happy about this adventure.
"Brady couldn't get his ridders under control," the text explained. Brady was nearly flipping over when he tried to swim to his mom. He, just like Graffiti, went straight back to the boat.
"Solid ground is better for these loaves," the video joked. The video's caption reiterated this thought with: "Tahoe activities are questionable to these loaves."
In the comment section, viewers shared their thoughts after watching the video, and they're a mix of funny and sweet.

Another shared, "This made me laugh between the look of terror in Gdogs eyes and the feet struggling to swim."
Someone added, "Beautiful water. The boys did great even though they thought it was questionable."
Another wrote, "I would sell every limb to meet them."
Someone chimed in, "They're cute! Whatever they're doing."
One joked, "Now they are soggy loaves."
Are Corgis Good Swimmers?
Not everyone is cut out for going in the water, and that's true for different dog breeds as well. While some are made for swimming, like Golden Retrievers, others are not the best at this skill. And that includes Corgis, according to Purely Pets Insurance.
"Corgis, like other small and stocky dog breeds, also face challenges when it comes to swimming," the site explains.
"Due to their short legs and heavy bodies, corgis have a lower center of gravity, making it difficult for them to maintain balance and stay afloat in the water."
Because these dogs struggle to balance, which we totally saw Brady struggle with, it's extra important that they're in life jackets and supervised when near water.
"This can put them at risk of drowning if they are not properly supervised or equipped with the necessary safety measures," Purely Pets Insurance shares.
