Dachshund Giving Mom Her 'Daily Dose of Sass' Is So Cute People Can't Take It

Our dogs may not be able to tell us what they're thinking using human language, but boy, do they all find their own ways of communicating with us! Whether it's through barks, whines, or even howls, the more vocal breeds tend to be loud about what they want (and what they don't). Others will use their paws to steer us in the direction of that treat they're hoping for, or to nudge us for a few extra pets when we're cuddling up for a night on the couch watching TV. It's hard not to love them for it!  

And when dogs are ready to unleash a little sass, somehow, they find a way to to do that, too. Case in point: The Dachshund in this TikTok video, whose attitude is making everyone fall in love with her. 

This sweet video comes to us from @marykot_, who is here to share her "daily dose of Cleo sass." What that means is that we get to watch a sweet Dachshund pup in her car seat, letting her mom know exactly what's on her mind. This little lady might be small, but she clearly has a big personality! 

I don't know what she was feeling so sassy about, since she was just chilling with her tennis ball in what looked to be a very comfy carseat, but whatever the cause, she needed to tell the world about it.

Commenters are making it clear that Cleo is a hit, though. One person wrote, "It's always the Dachshunds." Too true! 

A Dachshund's Colorful Personality

While members of this small dog breed are known for being playful, having a propensity for barking, and yes, being adorable, they are also known for having a lot of personality the way that Cleo does. 

As The Spruce Pets points out, Dachshunds are famously stubborn creatures who are very bold and like to get their way — and in those moments when they aren't getting their way, they are most definitely going to make you aware of it!  

However, they also love to show affection, and they are loyal to their humans, which makes up for the rest of it, don't you think? And it's hard to get mad at arguing with your pet every day when your arguments are as cute as the one in the video. 

It sounds like Cleo's sass is right on target for her breed — though, if you ask me, she does bring a little extra "oomph" that is uniquely her own. I don't doubt her mom has come to love that about her!
