Dachshund's Reaction to Mom Ordering Him a Pup Cup Is Precious

So many of us have a favorite treat, one that we never turn down when offered and we can get visibly excited when that opportunity comes. Turns out, that is true for our dogs too.

On August 25, the human mom for Bentley (@bentleytheminidox) shared a video of a really sweet Dachshund who had the cutest reaction when he heard his mom ordering him his favorite treat — a pup cup. It’s a must watch, so take a look!

In the video, we meet Bentley who is sitting in the car next to his mom who is driving. Mom has her camera set up to film Bentley as she heads to a drive through at Starbucks to surprise him.

"Getting my dog's reaction of me ordering him a pup cup," the text on the video reads.

The 14-second video starts with the mom and doggy arriving at Starbucks drive-through and they're greeted by the worker though the speaker.

"Thank yo so much for choosing Starbucks," we hear in the video before mom places her order.

While mom talks, we see Bentley who seems to be patiently waiting while his mom gets her drinks.

"Can I just have a venti strawberry acai with no strawberries," mom says, before finishing with, "and a pup cup."

The second the words "pup cup" leaves her mouth, Bentley's whole demeanor changes. His eyes get big, and he seems to vibrate with excitement as he does the cutest little head tilt. He definitely knows what the words "pup cup" mean, and he's thrilled.

In the comment section, people took note of Bentley's adorable reaction.

A puppucino, aka a pup cup, is a special menu item you can get from Starbucks as a special treat for your dog. A pup cup is served in an espresso cup, or a sample cup filled with whip cream.  

According to a veterinarian that spoke with Lemonade, pup cups are safe treats for your furry friend. She does warn that you should never give your dog non-dairy whipped alternatives like Cool Whip since they typically contain xylitol, which is harmful for dogs.
