Precious Dachshund Patiently Waits for Dad to Make Her 'Latte Order' Each Morning

Only the best for her!

A sweet Dachshund likes to start his mornings watching his dad make lattes for the family, including a treat for her.

On April 23, 2024, TikTok user Nami, a cute Dachshund, shared a video of their morning routine with lattes, and it's really cute. Take a look!

In a short 16-second video, we meet Nami, a tiny black Dachshund who loves to wait for her morning latte.

The video starts with Nami in the kitchen, and we can see her dad behind her doing something at the counter.

He's making morning lattes for everyone, their daily routine. And now Nami gets in on the fun each day.

"Every morning, my husband makes me a latte," the text on the video reads from Nami's mom, Cynthia.

"Nami now waits next to me for her order," the text adds.

And that's what we see play out in the cute clip. Nami's dad puts together a real coffee latte for his wife and Nami's mom before he is ready to take her order next.

And the sweet Dachshund's order is the same each morning, too. A pup cup full of whipped cream.

People in the comments loved seeing this cute clip of the daily routine.

"Her own in-house Starbucks," one person wrote.

"Look at that coffee bar," another shared.

"Good job, Dad! Perfect latte," shared someone else.

"What a precious video!" wrote another viewer. I always love to see people taking care of their fur babies."

Are Pup Cups Good for Dogs to Eat?

According to Bay Vets, pup cups, whether whipped cream or soft serve ice cream, are OK for dogs to eat as a once-in-a-while treat. But they can cause problems, too.

"While dairy isn’t necessarily toxic for dogs, many dogs are lactose intolerant to varying degrees," they explain on their website. "This can lead to gastrointestinal upset, which could result in diarrhea, vomiting, and loss of appetite."

These should be considered a "once in a blue moon treat" for dogs and not something they should always have.

According to its website, the American Kennel Club has a similar feeling about pup cups. Since dairy can bother many dogs, you can wait and see how your dog reacts after giving them small amounts.

"However, keep in mind that chocolate and macadamia nuts are toxic to dogs, so only plain vanilla or fruit flavors should ever be considered," they add.

Also, dog parents really need to make sure they're keeping their dogs away from treats that contain xylitol.

"Many ice creams, frozen yogurts, and popsicles contain this highly toxic and potentially deadly ingredient," the club writes. "You should ask if there are any artificial sweeteners in the ice cream before offering it to your dog, especially if your dog is such a small breed."
