Demi Moore's Sweet Words About 'Healing, Magical' Pup Pilaf Are Impossible to Resist
I know I'm a total simp but I could listen to people who love their pets talk about their pets all day. Case in point? The way the drop-dead gorgeous and talented Demi Moore talks about her teensy tiny precious Chihuahua Pilaf.
I can't help but tear up at this video where she talks to Vogue France about Pilaf and what she means to her! It's just so touching! Plus, she looks ridiculously stunning.
"She is my touchstone. She regulates the heart. She is a little healing, magical creature."
One person commented, "Immediately madly in love with Pilaf." Another added something that will make many of us seethe with jealousy and said, "Pilaf is an incredible creature!! Met her in New York last year." Someone else responded with, "So true our pets are Healing Magical Creatures."
This is how I feel about my fur baby! He's not a dog, he's my almost-one-year-old Maine Coon cat named Meatball that my sister got me for my birthday last year.
Maine Coons are funny cats because he generally is cool with everyone in the house but he really is my boy and I am his person. I'm the one he sleeps with, he follows me around like a puppy, and he always seems to know when I need him, if I am stressed or kind of having a sad day or I just want some affection he is always there. Magical healing creature, indeed.
Don't get me wrong, I love our other cats and my kid's Pomeranian dog but there's just something about Meatball. He's my soul cat. I just wish he was easier to bring with me everywhere like tiny Pilaf is! Pilaf can basically fit in a pocket! Or a purse!
Moore goes on to say this in the interview:
"She does get to go a lot of places. Not everywhere is ideal for her but if she had her way she would go."
In her Dogue special edition of Vogue magazine this past summer, Moore explained that Pilaf goes everywhere with her, "I can take Pilaf everywhere. She’s literally been to Broadway shows, museums, the French Open, art openings, restaurants. She’s a service animal, so she’s allowed to go everywhere. She’s flown to Europe 14 times."
With Pilaf being this cute and this tiny I'd take her everywhere too! She's a tiny magical creature who deserves to see the world!
