Athletic Dog’s Daily Walk in the Park Is a Complete Workout
When you have a highly active dog, it can sometimes feel like a walk only energizes them. You may be completely exhausted when they are just getting started. If that sounds familiar, this is a technique you may also want to try.
In a video posted on August 18th, TikTok user @flawlesscuties_pets shows us how their very energetic canine walks in the park. If this doesn’t tire your pooch out, it’s possible nothing ever will.
Can you imagine seeing these two heading toward you? This dog just doesn’t seem to tire at all. He’s running through the park at full speed while pulling his owner behind on something with wheels. Better than some humans, he understands how to navigate the road. To avoid walkers on the right, he moves left and ensures the safety of himself and his owner. Upon passing, he veers right until he reaches more people to circumvent. He seems to understand he’s pulling precious cargo behind and makes these shifts accordingly. He even passes through people on both sides with flawless grace. On one occasion, he gave a glance at another dog he encountered, but it only slowed him down for a brief second. Three minutes into this walk and this pooch is still running full steam ahead until he spots a pup doing its business, and he can’t pass up the chance to say hello. Ha!
This incredibly vibrant dog impressed the audience. Viewer @Xhuli responded, “Dog takes turns like he has a mechanical engineering degree.” It’s true! Viewer @Auloralfa14 asked, “How did you teach a dog to run where you want him or her to run?” We were wondering the same thing. It’s hard to imagine someone teaching this skill. We suspect this intelligent Border Collie may have been born with this ability. In response to a question about the dog’s stamina, the video’s creator stated he had nearly unlimited endurance. No wonder they had to come up with an innovative way to exercise him.
If you’re looking for a little fun during your daily stroll, this intelligent breed may be your perfect canine companion. If you prefer a more relaxing walk, a calmer pup may suit you better.
