Duck Pretending to Be a Vacuum Is Hilariously Convincing
Do you remember the dream job you wanted to land when you were a kid thinking about your feature? We would daydream about becoming an astronaut or a zookeeper, and it didn’t matter how outlandish those dreams were. Turns out some animals have similar dreams, too.
On August 18, TikTok user ducks_in_space (@ducks_in_space) shared a video of a cute duck who was happily living out their best dream. It's hilarious and you have to give it a watch!
The 9-second video starts with a cup falling to the floor, spilling green food all over. But, there's nothing to worry about because there's the perfect vacuum for the job.
In walks in a cute white duck who's wearing a bib that resembles what a Disney character maid might wear. Except this outfit said the words: "duckson."
The person who very likely made the spill mess in the first place got to work at cleaning it up, with the best vacuum for the job. Yes, the duck wearing the apron.
The person taps the cute duck's beak, and the sound of a vacuum begins, and the cosplaying as a vacuum gets to work. They zoom around the room "vacuuming up" the spill, one piece at a time.
"My personal vacuum," the caption of the video reads.
It's clear by reading the comments of this adorable video that people were feeling the duck's vacuum interpretation.
"Love this," one TikTok viewer wrote.
"Cuteeee," another shared.
Another commenter joked that this vacuum, aka the duck, should only be used to clean up vegetables, and it's just so hilariously accurate.
According to the Wildlife Center of Virginia, wild ducks eat differently than domesticated ducks.
"Wild ducks and geese feed on a variety of grains and grasses, aquatic plants, and invertebrates, all naturally found in the wild," the organization explains. "When eaten in combination, these foods are nutritionally balanced and provide everything a wild duck or goose needs to survive."
But what do pet ducks eat? According to The Happy Chicken Coop, there are several recipes a duck can eat and it really depends on their age.
"Feeding ducks the right diet has a tremendous influence on how they grow and develop," the publication notes. "Poor diet lacking in nutrition will most certainly have a detrimental effect on them."
