Labradors Show Off Epic Jumping Skills in Joyful Bounce House Birthday Bash
Birthdays for dogs are meant to be grand. As they are our little companions who love us so, it's only right to celebrate them with all the pomp and circumstance possible. They deserve it! For Tato, the Labrador, his 2nd birthday came with a special surprise—a giant bounce house—and it was the best day ever.
Tato, along with brother Ollie and a few best pup friends, were thrilled with the birthday bash surprise, even when things ended in the funniest way. Take a look at the birthday boy in all his bounce house glory!
Though it took a minute for Tato to figure out what exactly to do with the mega-sized inflatable castle, he didn't hesitate to test it out. These things aren't just for kids, and by the look of sheer joy on his face, this is clearly the best gift he could ever get. And once his pack of buddies join in the fun, it's even better.
Even when the Labrador figured out how to deflate the house, he made the best of it and seemed to have an even better time hopping in and out of the sinking materials! He's the epitome of pure puppy joy, so thanks for capturing it, @good.boy.tato!
"Well… that’s not what I had planned. But our little jumping potato had the BEST DAY EVER," the caption says.
It's definitely one for the books and many of Tato's faithful followers agreed that this was in fact the best birthday ever!
"We've been patiently waiting for this and it didn't disappoint!" one person said.
"How awesome and such fun. We should all try and be a bit more Tato and find joy in the most unexpected places," another said.
"Can’t believe how high he jumps!! Should have hung a doggy piñata!!!" another suggested and yes—we'll be waiting on that footage for Tato's next trip around the sun!
Unique Birthday Party Ideas For Your Pup
Tato's party looked like tons of fun, and if you're looking to throw a doggy party for your little one, there are a number of cool ideas to make it extra special. Good Housekeeping has a list of inspired birthday party ideas that'll make your dog feel the love, but be sure to cater it toward your dog's personality.
For instance, if you're celebrating an October fur baby, you could hold a costume contest and have all the canine guests dress up. For a summer party, offer a kiddie pool with water they can splash to cool off on a hot day, or have a bubble machine setup so they can catch and chomp at the bubbles.
An obstacle course or buckets full of balls will make any active dog go crazy. And of course, if you have a hoppy boy like Tato, a bounce house will be a real winner. Whatever you do, make your dog is the star and don't forget to have dog-friendly treats on-hand!
