Mom Twins With Her Giant Maine Coon Cat in Fun Transition Video
A Maine Coon mom twins with her giant cat in a fun transition video that takes them from comfort to full glam.
On May 31, 2024, TikTok user Wild Mane Maine Coons (@wildmade_mainecoons) shared a really sweet transition video of her and her incredible cat named Cobra. Take a look!
The video clip is pretty quick, only 11 seconds, but that's more than enough time to fall in love with the beautiful Maine Coon.
The video starts with Mama standing in their kitchen holding Cobra. She's wearing a comfy short and tee set, and Cobra looks huge in her arms, which makes sense since he's a Maine Coon. Cobra looks at something behind the camera while Mom lip-syncs," Well, I've been saved by the grace of Southern Charm."
As she finishes that last word, she moves Cobra closer to the camera, and when she pulls back still on that word "charm," the fun transition happens.
The cat and mama are still standing in the kitchen, but they're now fully dressed. Mom has her hair down, and she's changed her cozy tee and shorts for a beautiful summer outfit.
And Cobra matches her new look! He's now wearing a beautiful white and black bowtie that matches the vibe of his mom's outfit.
"Cobra doesn't look pleased by he sure looks handsome," the video's caption reads.
In the comments, people had all positive things to say.
"Cobra is so handsome," one fan wrote.
"I have one, and they get so big," someone else shared.
"What a stud," another wrote.
"OMG I love Maine Coons, they're so cute," another fan added.
How Big Do Maine Coons Really Get?
There is good reason Maine Coons get so much love on social media. These cats aren't only massive and majestic looking but also real sweethearts.
"Maine Coons are large, affectionate cats who love to play and hang out with their humans," Daily Paws shares. "This cat breed is typically known for its massive size — up to 40 inches in length — but Maine Coon owners know and prize these cats for being loving family pets."
But how big can these cats get? Pretty big! They're considered the "largest domestic cat breed," and they really mean it.
They're typically 10 to 16 inches tall and can be up to 40 inches long. And the average Maine Coon is over 10 pounds and can weigh up to 18 pounds, with solid legs and muscles all over.
"As if their big-boned build wasn't enough, the ample fur in the Maine Coon's coat makes these majestic animals look even bigger," Daily Paws explains.
These cats have the best of everything people love about cats: they're big, fluffy, cuddly, playful, silly, and stunning. What's not to love?
