Mama Cat’s Struggle To Wrangle Her Kittens Is Too Real and Too Cute

Every mom has struggled with trying to wrangle her kid, especially if she's got more than one. Cats are no different, except for one thing: they don't have thumbs!

Even without them, though, we can see in this TikTok posted on Tuesday, August 24th that they still do their best to get by:

The videographer in this post from @yooyoomiao did exactly what she should have done in this situation. Good on them!

We see the kittens hit the floor as the mama cat tries to jump up on the couch while holding them by the scruff. She obviously misjudged her ability to get them up there, but as her owner states, she's a first time mom! She doesn't know the best ways to do everything yet!

The kittens are perfectly fine after their little fall: they're extremely resilient and it was a relatively slow fall with a low drop. Judging by the way they look, they're also probably at least a few weeks old: they're a little sturdier than a newborn kitten is.

In this situation, it might be tempting for you to intervene and pick the kitten up off the ground to place it on the couch. However, that might actually be the worst thing you can do: cats are very protective over their kittens and you, the cat, or the kitten might get hurt if she tries to defend her babies. 

If she wanted help, she would've let the owner know. Odds are, though, that she found a safer space for them that she knew she could reach. Either way, letting her figure it out for herself is important!
