Mikey Madison Walking Her Rescue Dog Wearing a Velvet Gown Will Make You Feel Like a Hot Mess
Celebrities! They are just like us, am I right? Didn't all of us take our adorable rescue dogs out for a night time stroll while wearing a burgundy Mugler midi dress? No? Just Mikey Madison? Okay then!
The Anora star was seen walking her adorable rescue dog named Jam wearing not only that stunning dress, but a pair of strappy silver stilettos and celestial diamond earrings from Tiffany & Co.
Not only does the 25-year-old Once Upon a Time .. In Hollywood star look incredible but I love how she's the one actually walking her dog, Jam. I mean a lot of celebrities would just be all No can do, not walking my dog in this evening gown and have their assistant or a dog walker do it, but she's committed.
Not only does Madison have a dog named Jam, but she is also a cat mom to a cat named Biscuit.
According to an esquire article from August, acting wasn't Madison's first choice when it came to a career, and her other option had something to do with animals.
"The first big decision was to pick acting over horses. “My grandmother was a horseback rider, and my mom was a horseback rider, and so, naturally, I was riding horses before I could walk—or at least sitting on a horse,” she says. As a teen, she was homeschooled so she could spend more time with the horses. The barn was a second home. She could have literally ridden off into the sunset that way. But there was a tickle in her subconscious—a “yearning” for human connection pushing her to try something different."
Just another reason to stan this amazingly talented actor.
What to Wear When Walking Your Dog
So if you're not wearing your vintage designer velvet evening gown, especially now that the weather is turning for a lot of us, dressing in layers is a must. That way if you get to hot you can just take off the jacket you are wearing over your vintage evening gown.
But seriously, to walk your dog you can just wear whatever you pick up off your closet floor, but make sure you wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in and won't cause you blisters. At night wear something reflective or have your dog wear something reflective like a collar.
Make sure your cell phone is charged and you bring a flashlight if you are walking at night. Gloves and a hat are helpful if the weather is chilly, and if you plan on taking a longer hike make sure you bring water for both you and your pup.
