Mini Dachshund’s Untimely Protest for Mom’s Attention Is Too Cute To Handle
Do your dogs like to follow you everywhere? Would you prefer they didn’t sometimes? Although we enjoy having them with us, there are a few moments of the day we would rather be alone.
This situation is just so relatable to pet parents. Watch and see why this pooch isn’t happy so happy with mom.
Many pet owners are very familiar with this situation. In a video posted on August 24th, TikTok user @bruno.minidoxie shows us what happened when she stayed in the bathroom and on the phone for too long. We’ve been here before, too. You just want a couple of minutes to yourself. However, in dog years, these minutes seem like forever. This little cutie can’t take the wait any longer and he’s propped up on his back end, begging for attention, while making the most adorable sounds. We wish we could understand exactly what he’s saying. Perhaps he’s asking if she’s done yet, or perhaps he’s saying, Come on, let’s go! Whatever it is, his cuteness certainly gets his message across. This sweet face would make us cave in quickly.
The audience was familiar with this bathroom begging. Viewer @NicoleBacon said, “I am currently on the toilet with my dachshund curled up on her bathroom bed.” That’s a smart idea. If your dog can get comfortable enough to take a nap, it may buy you some time. Viewer @sharleenrosenow responded, “My fur baby does exactly the same thing, but in the end, I have to let him put his head on my lap or he sits there crying.” Ha! Talk about invading personal space. Viewer @Àni said, “My cat climbs onto my lap if I take more than a millisecond. I’ve been stuck on the toilet before because he got comfy.” Too funny! We didn’t realize even cats got in some extra snuggles during these times too.
One of my dogs likes to lie on the bathmat, with her head down, as if I have neglected her for days. They are undoubtedly highly skilled manipulators. They fully understand their abilities and are not afraid to use them.
