Ozzy Osbourne Mourns The Sad Passing of His Pomeranian 'Rocky'

How heartbreaking.

Ozzy Osbourne, the former lead singer of Black Sabbath, age 75, shared the sad news on Instagram that his beloved Pomeranian named Rocky died earlier this week.

The rocker shared the heartbreaking post yesterday.

Ozzy shared a sweet photo pf him holding the little Pomeranian and posted,

"Two days ago I lost my good friend Rocky who has been at my side for 15 years," I’ll see you on the other side my friend. I love you always - Ozzy."

Ozzy's wife Sharon Osbourne also shared a sweet video of the little pup on Instagram with the caption "We lost an OG and Ozzy’s partner in crime ~ Rest Easy Rocky."

Fans are offering their condolences on social media and one person said, 'I’m so sorry for your loss. Rocky truly was so special to you. Loved watching him on tv and World Detour. Losing a pet is so hard." Another person replied, "I'm so sad for your loss. 15 years is amazing for a dog. He had the best life with you."

We are so sorry for the Osbourne family in this difficult time, and to anyone else mourning the loss of their beloved pet.

Ways To Heal After your Fur Baby Passes

Losing a dog is one of the most heartbreaking experiences a pet owner can ever have, and there are many ways you can commemorate the life your precious pup lived and all the joy and love they brought you.

Certain parks have a rainbow bridge where dog owners can place the collar or tags of a dog that has passed. This is a lovely way you can remember your pup and pay homage to all the other beloved dogs who have passed.

You can plant a memorial garden in your yard and place a stone or path marker with your pups name on it.

You can create a memory book filled with beautiful photos of your dog.

You can light a candle in your dog's honor on their birthday, holidays, or whenever it brings you comfort.

You can adopt or foster a dog in honor or your pet, or make a donation in their name to your local animal shelter or Humane Society.

Losing a beloved dog is never easy, but in time the pain will subside a bit and you will be left with more memories of the joy they brought you then with tears.
