Pigeon Strutting While Showing Off His Extensive Wardrobe Is Too Cute to Miss
Birds are interesting creatures because there are so many different types all with different personalities. Like this pigeon who has more personality in him than people ten times his size. But this isn’t a regular bird, Nigel the Pigeon is something special.
On August 7, TikTok user Nigel the Pigeon (@nigelthepetpigeon) shared a video of Nigel showcasing his love for fashion, and, as a bird, this pigeon has a lot of style. Take a look.
In the 44-second video we see Nigel the Pet Pigeon strutting out of his cage and chirping. He walks over to his doll-sized wardrobe and takes out one of his mini backpacks. The wardrobe is full of backpacks and other accessories, but it was this bag in particular that had Nigel all excited.
Holding the mini-backpack in his beak, Nigel walks around the room seemingly super proud to show off his cool bag. From there, he heads back to his mini-wardrobe to get another look at all the outfit options he has for the day.
In the comment section, people asked questions about Nigel and his love for bags and accessories.
"Maybe put the other backpack in the back and see if he still picks the same bag or [a different] one," one person suggested.
"What does he want his accessories for? Nesting?" another person asked. Thankfully, Nigel's parent answers: "Toys! He mainly just rags them around like a dog or proudly carries them around."
"If you'll switch the order of the bags in the closet - will he still pick the same one?" someone else asked. Nigel's parent replied saying they tried doing that. "He pulled the others out to get to his blue/pink one."
"What does he do with the clothes once they're out? does he just admire them for a minute then walk away or is it more involved?" another fan asked. "He can wear his pants, but he tends to just carry his bag around to various places," Nigel's parent replied.
According to Pigeon Rescue, these birds are super smart and they can make great indoor or outdoor pets. "Pigeons make great pets both indoors as part of the family or outside in a rodent and predator-proof aviary," the site explains.
The site continues, "Pigeons are smart, easy going birds that quickly learn household routines. They do fine in homes with other pets and can live peacefully and unafraid with dogs and cats as long as they are kept safe."
Sounds like Nigel is living his best life!
