Adorable Ragdoll Kitchen Teaches Herself to Skateboard Like a True Pro
It’s not uncommon to see dogs with impressive human-like abilities. While some can quickly scale walls, others open doors with the skill of a locksmith. Their high levels of intelligence, combined with their athletic talents, are always fun to see.
While cats are also clever and agile, we rarely see them doing something like riding a skateboard. And it’s even more impressive when it’s a skill they have taught themselves.

Whoa! At just three months old, little Puka (@pukakittycat) is already a master of many skills. Besides being incredibly adorable, this little Ragdoll kitten has also learned to skateboard. Not only that, but her flying jumps to get it rolling are priceless! My goodness! This little baby is absolutely precious. She is a fearless daredevil who loves her new skill so much that her mom even made her a custom mini skateboard, which she showed us in a subsequent video. At just a few months old, she has learned how to use it just like a human child. She kicks off with her paws to start the momentum and gets it moving. It’s impressive to see what this smart kitten can do at such a young age, but it can also be a bit scary for pet parents to have a baby with such high intelligence.
Are All Ragdolls This Smart?
Experts agree that even though this gentle and friendly breed is not rated in the top five on intelligence tests, they still display a high level of brilliance. According to the VCA, many Ragdolls can learn obedience commands and tricks like dogs, and they have fun-loving personalities, which they often carry into adulthood. This probably means that Puka will spend her life mastering the art of the skateboard. In addition to their playfulness, this breed is known for loving water and having a tendency to join a bath with their human.
This young kitten’s skills has people impressed. One viewer remarked, “This is where it all starts. Skateboard kitty... I’m here for it.” I am, too! Viewer @JoshWojciechowski responded, “That was the cutest thing I’ve seen all day!” It really is! Another member proposed, “Tony Hawk needs to see your cool kitten! Can you imagine little Kitty Hawk?” Purrfect! That name is as cool as this cat’s moves.
Even though we may have never witnessed a cat skateboarding before, this small feline seems determined to showcase her skills as she grows older. If she could pick up the basics in mere seconds, I can’t wait to see what she learns to do in the future.
