As our precious fur babies age, they tend to slow down a little bit. Your pup who was once a huge bundle of energy running zoomies around the house now probably enjoys a nice, long nap in a sunny spot on your sofa. But on occasion, our older pups enjoy playing with toys and chasing balls, they just tend to do it in slow-motion.

Just check out these sweet senior Staffordshire Bull Terriers having a high-speed ball chase around the house. They are just too adorable for words.

The heartwarming clip was shared to the TikTok account @Kaseyej13, and everyone is so in love with these sweet senior citizen pups. The adorable caption reads, “Senior citizen ball chase.”

One person commented, “Love the way he just straightens up every now and then to stretch – can’t keep running around like some young pup.”

Another person added, “I am exhausted just watching them.”

Someone else hilariously asked, “Is there a way to slow this down? I can’t make out what is happening.”

Another person cheekily said, “Be really careful. You don’t want them running into walls at that speed.”

It’s so sweet that they have each other to play with and this is exactly the sort of activity that will keep these sweet senior Staffies young at heart. As our pups age, they need both mental activities and physical ones to keep them as healthy as possible.

Puzzle feeders can stave off boredom and help your older pup get some mental stimulation, and going on walks and letting your dog sniff can keep their body healthy. Even walking in a new neighborhood can have both mental and physical benefits for your pup.

There’s nothing sweeter than senior dogs. Here’s hoping these two have many more chase sessions to come!
