Tiny Siamese Kitten Who Talks in Her Sleep Is the Cutest Little Chatterbox

She has so much to say!

There's nothing cuter than a sleeping kitten. Put a video of that on a loop, and many of us will happily fixate on it for the better part of a day because it triggers the release of happy-making endorphins. Now imagine the kitten in this scenario talks in her sleep, and it's even better. This is Mavis, the Siamese kitten, and she's stealing hearts everywhere.

Full disclosure: This video isn't as long as we wish it were, but Mavis's sleepy-time conversation is as adorable as it gets. Check her out!

Okay, now is that not the sweetest thing you've ever seen? Miss Mavis, who was rescued at just 5 weeks old, has always been a little yapper, and that's what makes her so special. She didn't let a rough start to her life get in the way of letting her personality shine.

"Miss Yap and her most iconic moment," the video is appropriately captioned.

This little girl is doing big things, we just know it! Her legion of followers is all over these videos to support all the chatting, yapping, and nonstop talking she offers.

"That baby is gonna be tired after working so hard to sleep," one person said.

"Oooh. Somebody's getting us eaten in A Quiet Place," another joked.

"I have a Lynx point Siamese as well get ready for that all day lol," another added.

It's not easy being the Queen of Talk, but Mavis makes it look so easy!

Siamese Cats Are Naturally Chatty

If you ask anyone to describe a Siamese cat, their first word would be "talkative." It's true. Known also as "Meezers" due to the sound of their high-pitched cry, Siamese babes like Mavis can hold their own in conversations.

Incredibly vocal with their pet parents and highly social, Siamese cats love being with family and desire a lot of attention. Sure, they can be independent, but the foundation of their breed relies on forming strong bonds with their people. Ironically, they don't always love to be held or cuddled!

According to Better Vet, Siamese cats are great for families with children because they're so active and playful, but not the best fit for anyone who wants a quiet, low-maintenance cat because of their desire to be seen and heard. It's not a bad thing, that's what makes them unique from other cat breeds.

So, if you're looking for a kitty who will talk to you day and night (and possibly even when they're asleep like Mavis), a Siamese is for you!
