Siberian Cat Gets the 'Turbocharged' Zoomies and Has Energy for Days
If you have a cat or you've ever lived with a cat, you probably know of the strange phenomenon called "zoomies." It's a weird burst of energy, and it can be really funny at times.
On November 20, TikTok user Numbus (@nimbus_siberian) shared a video of what happens when this funny Siberian cat gets the zoomies, and it's made a really funny video. Take a look!
In a quick 24-second clip, it's clear right away that Nimbus is going to go wild.
At first, we see him run across the room before jumping up on his cat tree perch. "How I maintain my 2020 Turbocharged Purrari," the text on the screen jokes.
Just as Nimbus jumps to the highest perch on his cat tree, he turns around, and we see that, yep, he's got the zoomies. You can tell because he's sitting partly sideways with his head tilted and his eyes big and wide.
The mom jokes about how she's able to keep the zoomie cat with so much energy, which includes "high octane fueling daily." AKA some food for Numbus in a bowl. She also makes sure to keep his coat looking its best by brushing him "semiweekly" and monthly "mudflap cleaning."
In addition to that, she maintains Nimbus's "turbocharge zoomies" through "tire rotation" each month, the text on the video explains as the mom is clipping Nimbus's nails. Plus, when needed, she does "full-service wash emergencies." And we can't tell if Numbus likes this part or not, but it is hilarious to see him all wet with his fur no longer floofy.
"This model requires a lot of maintenance due to its high mileage," Numbus's mom jokes in the caption.
Given how cute George is and how funny and useful these tips for turbocharging your cat are, people had a lot to say in the comments.
"Oh no, the wet Nimbus," is what struck one person watching the video.
"I think I need more soggy Nimbus in my life," shared another.
"Mudflap," someone else wrote along with several cry-laugh emojis. "I. AM. DYING."
"The absolute RAGE face on Nimbus for his emergency full-service wash is absolutely SENDING me," joked another.
According to PetFinder, Siberian cats are known for being playful, friendly, affectionate, and intelligent.
"Siberians are affectionate cats with a good dose of personality and playfulness. They are amenable to handling, and it is noted that Siberians have a fascination with water, often dropping toys into their water dishes or investigating bathtubs before they’re dry," the company shares. "Siberians seem very intelligent, with the ability to problem-solve to get what they want."
It might be fun to see if we can get our cats to do a wholesome Nimbus parade.
