Tiny Pomeranian's Halloween Photoshoot in Front of Stephen King's House in Maine Is Beyond Perfect

This is amazing!

It's hard to think about Halloween and celebrating spooky season without making Stephen King part of the festivities. After all, his books are the material behind so many stories that have turned into horror movie classics, from Carrie to It to The Shining. It's practically a given that any Halloween event you're at, you're going to see at least one person in a costume inspired by one of the characters he created. If you want to be scared silly, nobody does it better than King!

So it makes plenty of sense that around this time of year, we'd also see pets dressed as characters from King books and movies. But the Pomeranian in the TikTok video below? Yeah, he might just win this one.

On Wednesday, October 30, dog mom @jaclyn14xo shared the most epic, dog-centric Halloween photoshoot ever on TikTok. She took her Pomeranian pup, Riley, to the mansion that once belonged to King, and her dog modeled multiple costumes as she adorably posed in front of the house.

Truly, it made the best backdrop for this kind of thing; the victorian style house is giving all the spooky vibes, especially the wrought iron gate that keeps the place secure — of course Stephen King's house would have a gate with a spider and bat design.

Riley's looks were on point, too, and she seemed more than happy to pose for the camera. The yellow raincoat that transformed her into Georgie from It is so cute! I hope her mom is keeping her away from any sewers, though — I wouldn't want Pennywise to get too tempted.

If you want to see more peeks at Riley's costumes, you can check out her Instagram posts. Seriously, her mom should be proud of this idea!

More About Stephen King's House

If your first thought upon seeing this video was "I have to visit Stephen King's house next Halloween," congratulations — we have at least one thing in common!

The home is located in Bangor, Maine, and unfortunately, King no longer lives there; now, he and his wife Tabitha live in Florida. And while the home isn't currently open to the public, as The Line Up pointed out, it is in the process of becoming an archive and retreat for writers, so there is a chance that fans could be let on the property someday in the future.

When King and his family still lived there, they did receive trick-or-treaters a few times, but as he explained on his website, things got out of hand, unsurprisingly.

"We've done trick-or-treat a few times and we had 600 or 800 - one time we had 1,400 people show up for candy and treats and it's fun, it's great to see everyone, but it wears everybody out and it plays hell with the law so we're not doing that anymore," he wrote.

If you're in the area, though, you're welcome to take photos in front of the house the way Riley did as long as you're respectful of others who live in the neighborhood. Seems like a worthwhile trip to me!
