Tito's Handmade Vodka Just Gave Us Another Reason to Love It: They're Donating $250k to Help Shelter Dogs
There are so many shelters across the United States that are understaffed, overcrowded with animals waiting for their forever homes, and short on funds. Shelters are in desperate need of volunteers, items donations and donations of money.
That's why what Vodka for Dog People (VFDP), a program created by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, is doing this holiday season is so incredible.

This season, VFDP is donating $250,000 to help over 100 animal rescues across the U.S. and Canada fulfill their wish lists—covering essentials like food, collars, toys, beds, and blankets to ensure animals in their care are supported through the holidays.

Over the years, VFDP has made an incredible impact with animal-focused nonprofits around the world. Beyond the holiday wish list donation, VFDP’s efforts include supporting low-cost veterinary care, adoption events, and disaster relief transport services.
- In 2024 alone, VFDP has funded 75,000 spay/neuter surgeries and medical treatments
- Over the last 11 years, VFDP has provided 50 animal rescue disaster relief and response services to help relocate pets to safe locations
- In addition to supporting numerous yappy hours, nonprofit events, and establishing dog-friendly workspaces, Tito’s has rescued 145+ distillery dogs, many of whom now thrive alongside team members
According to the ASPCA, approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Of those, approximately 3.9 million are dogs. Programs like what Tito's is doing can make such a huge difference for shelters, like Muddy Paws.
