Tom Hardy and His Frenchie 'Blue' Reading a Bedtime Story Have the Internet Swooning
Everyone's favorite dog dad and Venom star Tom Hardly is up to no good again, and by no good we mean being absolutely adorable while reading a book for the BBC accompanied by his little French Bulldog named Blue.
Just watch this and see for yourself who is more adorable, Hardy or the dog.
He is reading part of the book The Oak Tree by Julia Donaldson and viewers on the BBC TikTok page can't get enough. One person commented, "If Tom were to actually ever say “night-night” to me, I’d fall asleep instantly with a smile upon my face." Another added, "Tom Hardy, well well well everything you do just touches my heart everything you say moves my soul then when you bring your dog into it, you had me at hello."
Tom Hardy's love of dogs is pretty well-known, and there's even an entire Instagram account devoted to Hardy holding dogs.
Tom Hardy's love of dogs is so well known that Vanity Fair once wrote an entire article on Tom Hardy's love of dogs.
In the article, which contains some great quotes and anecdotes about Hardy and dogs, Hardy is quoted as saying, "I don’t have any friends. I don’t keep them or entertain them for any of that kind of problem. So I like to keep [to] myself. I have a dog and a son. A dog couldn’t do anything to upset me, you know, and neither could my son.”
Another person noticed how he was petting his little pup and said "Sheesh, he sure is petting the hell out of Blue." And it's true! The way he smooshes down the little dog's face is just too funny. You can just tell how much Blue adores his famous dad.
Another person responded with, "Everyone knows this guy loves dogs more than pretty much absolutely anyone. This is why he's one of my favorite famous people, he has always loved dogs and talked about rescue dogs. He's a gem."
Here's what he said when his sweet dog Woody passed, "To the bestest friend ever. To me and to a family who loved him beyond words and whom he loved without doubt more than I have ever known. Woody was the bestest of journey companions we ever could dream of having. Our souls intertwined forever."
Woody was just six year old when he passed in 2017.
You just gotta love a guy who loves dogs as much as Hardy does! Here's hoping we see more of him and Blue in the future.
