I adore all cats no matter what breed, age, or color, but as a cat mom to two orange boys, I’ll tell you there’s something super special about orange cats. Not only are they amazingly affectionate but they also have the biggest personalities, play nonstop, and engage in otherwise weird antics that are commonly classified as orange cat behavior. That’s why when one cat mom gave her one-eyed orange Tabby cat a googly-eyed makeover it just made total sense.
Sorry, it looks like this cat was born this way. His googly-eye just fits him perfectly.

After her sweet Goldendoodle lost an eye to cancer, a dog mom gave her a googly eye makeover.

Do One-Eyed Pets Require Special Care?
Whether they were born that way or lost an eye due to accident or injury, your fur baby should be able to adapt just fine and live a long, happy life if they are missing an eye.
If they lose an eye due to injury, make sure you ask your veterinarian the best way to clean the wound, how often their bandages need to be changed, and what signs of infection to look out for. If they were born that way or you adopt them with a missing eye, make sure you realize that their depth perception may be off and that they may not be able to judge distances as well. Try and keep your furniture in the same places if possible.
Your one-eyed fur baby may also enjoy toys that make noise, like crinkle balls or mice for cats and squeaky toys for pups.
One-eyed pets are incredibly resilient and adapt well with the right care and extra affection! Or, you know, a google eye makeover!
